The rules for using WedChapter.

The service

WedChapter provides wedding website, RSVP, and guest media-sharing services to couples and their guests. Features and availability may change as the platform develops. We will communicate material changes in advance where possible.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting an enquiry.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create a WedChapter account.
• One person or couple may hold one account per wedding event.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use WedChapter to:

• Upload, share, or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or infringes any third-party rights.
• Upload content depicting minors in an inappropriate context.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or other users' data.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the platform.
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by WedChapter.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Content and uploads

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content you grant WedChapter a limited licence to store, display, and process that content solely to provide the service.

• All uploads are subject to automated moderation. Content that violates our acceptable use policy may be removed without notice.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit.
• We do not claim ownership of your wedding photos, videos, or personal data.

Payments and billing

Paid plans are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing you agree to Stripe's Services Agreement in addition to these terms.

• Subscription fees are charged in advance for each billing period.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

Intellectual property

The WedChapter name, logo, brand assets, and all platform software are the intellectual property of NJMillar Software Development. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or brand assets without prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• WedChapter is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.
• Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, engage in abuse, or if we are required to do so by law. You may request account deletion at any time via our contact page. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
